The 16th edition of World Entrepreneurship Week under the theme „Technological Revolutions” has begun. Technologies affect all aspects of business and everyday life. At the Mazovia Academy in Płock, we are once again starting the global celebration of this event.
Welcoming the participants
Dr. Anna Nowacka, Vice-Rector for Science and Development, welcomed the assembled guests while emphasizing the close connection between business and new technologies. On behalf of the Mayor of Płock, Andrzej Nowakowski, the event was officially opened by Artur Zieliński, Deputy Mayor for development and investment, who is also executive director of CIFAL Płock. Płock Industrial and Technological Park was represented by Marcin Krzykwa, who talked about the Start in Park acceleration program, which aims to provide advisory support to current or future entrepreneurs from the Płock subregion. Among the participants gathered in the auditorium were representatives of the regional coordinator of the event – the Płock City Hall, representatives of the Academy Authorities, the Cifal Płock organization and the Płock Industrial and Technological Park. Young people from Płock and local high schools also came out in force. Prior to the lectures, the students learned about the Academy’s educational offer for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Valuable lessons about positive impact startups and AI tools
Daria Turowska-Makoś, Project Manager of Youth Business Poland, talked about positive impact startups. The lecture was a combination of inspiration and practical knowledge about entrepreneurship, sustainability and developing an impact business based on AI tools.
The workshop Create a positive impact startup idea with AI tools was led by Jan Rudzinski, entrepreneur, business consultant. During the workshop, high school and college students delved into the processes of generating ideas based on modern tools. Young people learned about the practical possibilities of applying AI tools in everyday spheres of life.
And tomorrow, Day with Żabka at the Mazovian Academy in Płock and the lecture Safe shopping online. The regional coordinator of the event is the City Hall of Płock and CIFAL Płock.
