Prof. dr hab. MD. Maciej Słodki, Rector of the Mazovian Public University in Płock signed and send to the Minister of Education and Science’s set of documents to get approval to create a uniform master’s studies in a medical degree.
The application has over two thousand pages, and dozens of pictures and projects, it was prepared under the leadership of dr hab. Mariola Głowacka, professor of University, Dean of Health Science Faculty.
In the list of required documents is the concept of education, the program of studies, support of students and didactic base, and statements of scientific staff (53 people) and medical staff (113 people). In documents, a project of Collegium Medicum expansion can be found.
The Ministry of Education and Science has one month to examine the application, and pass it on to the Polish Accreditation Commission. The Polish Accreditation Commission has 3 months to give an opinion regarding the application. The decision to create a medical degree at Mazovian Public University will be made in Autumn. If it is positive, around 60 medical students will start their first academic year in October 2023.
