We are pleased to announce that the 'Yearbook of the Płock Scientific Society,’ which is a journal of the Publishing House of the Mazovian Academy, has successfully undergone the evaluation process by the Norwegian Centre for Research Data (NSD) and has been included in the ERIH PLUS (The European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences) list.
ERIH PLUS is an index of academic journals for the Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) association in Europe. It facilitates easy access to articles from a database of over 10,000 journals.
The journal 'Yearbook of the Płock Scientific Society’ is listed in the index of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences (Communication of the Minister of Education and Science of December 1, 2021, regarding the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences). Unique Journal Identifier: 201131. Points: 20. The 'Yearbook of the Płock Scientific Society’ publishes articles in the fields of social sciences and humanities. Assigned scientific disciplines include political science and administration, social communication and media studies, culture and religion, history.
Each article undergoes a review process by two reviewers.
The 'Yearbook of the Płock Scientific Society’ includes texts in Polish, English, and other congress languages.
The first issue of the 'Yearbook of the Płock Scientific Society’ was published in 1929, followed by subsequent issues in 1931 and 1934, and then in 1983. Regular publication has been maintained since 2013. In 2018, the Płock Scientific Society transferred the right to publish the 'Yearbook of the Płock Scientific Society’ to the Mazovian Public University in Płock. Since 2018, the co-publisher of the yearbook is the State Vocational University named after Ignacy Mościcki in Ciechanów.
